COVID-19
As the pandemic arrived on US shores, uncertainty set in. A bevy of existential questions bubbled up, and no answers seemed satisfactory. While the world scrambled to sort out new rules of engagement, we observed & reflected. Then, we strategized a path forward.

AMERICA, EXCEPT...
Little did we know that as spring ended, so did a chapter in our country’s history. The third installment of Early Spring’s COVID-19 series reflected on the economic, physical & psychological health of our nation. Though the diagnosis wasn’t good, a discussion of American exceptionalism shed light on our journey. We’ve awakened as a nation. We’ve begun to doubt & to dismantle. On the eve of Independence Day, we sounded a call to arms to those who hold the power to influence culture stronger than any politician or movement ever could — brands. Peter Parker said it best, “With great power comes great responsibility.”

LIVIN’ LA VIDA CORONA

At the end of Month 3, the shock of a pandemic began to wear off. Routines were taking form. What those habits would be and how they’d affect society was largely up to us. Early Spring challenged brands to draft a blueprint for a more conscientious community consumers can build together. Analyzing 10 brands that demonstrated bravery & dedication to that end, Early Spring distilled four methods to rouse brands from paralysis and into action.
